Hey! Thanks for stopping by our blog!

I’m Cindy, and my daughter’s name is Jordan. We decided to start this blog as a fun mother-daughter project to share our love of food, photography, pets, and other random stuff. Plus, with two son’s in college, I needed a new distraction.

We live on four acres in Southern California, where we raise chickens, grow our own veggies, get dirty and love to cook- especially sweets.  When we are not busy outside (or eating!), we homeschool. Jordan has two older brothers, two dogs, one cat, two birds, 16 chickens, and hopefully a goldfish soon. Oh, and there is a husband/dad too. He’s usually the one that is outside, getting dirty.

My name is Jordan, and I’m the daughter! I’m 18 and a sophomore junior senior in high school. Because of my mom, I love desserts and baking, especially for other people. I also enjoy photography- all of the pictures you find on our blog (unless otherwise mentioned) were taken by me with a Nikon D3100.
