A very long time ago, my friend Laura gave me a wonderful French press. I used it from time to time at home, but I used it all the time while camping. It was awesome! About 2 years ago it broke- so sad! I replaced it with a regular coffee maker and then sort of forgot about it. About a month ago we were in Target looking for dorm room stuff for Travis and came across some adorable, brightly colored French presses. I thought it would be nice to have, but didn’t know if I should get one- I mean really, how many coffee makers does one person need? I think I own 5!
Fast forward to move-in day at the condo and I remembered that Alex doesn’t drink coffee! Seriously, how could a child of mine not drink coffee? What am I going to do when I visit him? Well, we solved that problem – off to Target for this adorable bright turquoise french press, and now it’s even on sale! Yay!
We decided we needed to try it out – the coffee was yummy. I’m so happy to have a 6th coffeemaker!
Pour the ground coffee into the bottom of the French Press, and pour hot water over the top. Stir it up then leave for 3 to 4 minutes and then press and drink. We used it on our recent camping trip and it was awesome! It was definitely strong and had a real kick!
^^^Oops! Be careful not to press too hard!!

One can never have enough coffee makers! I love this one!! Currently my coffee making involves a stick blender as we are into the Bulletproof coffee recipe! It’s on my ‘Tried and True’ Pinterest Board.
Stick blender? Sounds complicated. But I’m up for any form of coffee!
I’m with Laura — you can never have too many coffee makers! 😉 I love my French press, but often forget about it pushed to the back of my cupboard. I think I shall dig it out tonight…..
Oh fun! We used our french press yesterday and then let the coffee cool a bit and then made iced coffee. It was so good!
